Honestly, I feel like I blinked and now I am about to start studying for finals…SUCKS. Crazy to think that in 2 weeks I will be halfway done with my sophomore year at BC :(
Hi! For sophomore year there are 9 man suites, 8 mans, 6 mans and 4 mans. Unless you live on CoRo, where you are in either a traditional 2 person room or triple. The common rooms and kitchenette only come with the 9man, 8man, or 6 man option. If you get a 4man the common room is not actually a common room, it is just the room that connects the two rooms. It is until Junior and Senior year when you have the option of a 4 man with an actual common room and kitchen. I currently live in an 8 man in Walsh which is honestly the best building to live in as a Sophomore because everyone that lives in this building is a Sophomore. Housing at BC is the worst thing ever but people usually sign up with their 8 man and there is one person that you choose from your group to get a pick time and then they choose the room. If you get a good pick time, you will be on lower in your desired 8 man, but if you don’t, you can try to break up your group into two 4 mans and get into Walsh. If that doesn’t work I think there are triples in 66 which is on lower as well, but I am not too sure how housing is in 66. Now, if that is not possible then CoRo is probably what might just happen. The people that I know don’t actually hate it because it is so close to main campus, unlike lower where you have to make the trek up to main campus for class. But obviously Lower is awesome and if you get CoRo it’s ok!!! You will be on Lower eventually :)
